1) Inclinometer system is used to monitor lateral movement of slope protection, diaphragm wall, retaining wall, or embankment during construction stage. This inclinometer system is used for discontinuous frequency monitoring due to consultant’s requirement.
The Inclinometer system consists of assess tube and fittings (inclinometer casing) which is manufactured from pultruded fiberglass with four wheel oriental grooves spaced at 90° intervals, tilt sensing probe, connecting cable and datalogger.
The Inclinometer casing will be installed into ground or structure by placing it into a pre-drilling borehole… During installation, one of oriental grooves must be kept in the direction of the anticipated movements (for examples, direction of slope, perpendicular to sheet wall…)
The data can be recorded by connecting the inclinometer probe to data logger through connection cable. Then, the inclinometer probe move along the length of casing from bottom to the top with measuring 50cm of intervals. Lateral movement values will be calculated from the change in angle of tilt from the vertical.

The continuous monitoring inclinometer system consist of inclinometer casing which is made of pultruded fiberglass integrated four oriental groove, the string of tilt sensors, Data loggers..
The inclinometer casing will be installed into pre-drilling borehole inside structural components and keep one of oriental grooves in direction of the anticipated movement. String of inclinometer sensors is installed inside the casing and joined together passing to surface to obtain deflection profiles.
Cable is connected to datalogger and time measurer. Data may be recorded with interval of a second.
The data system can be transferred through internet.
